The Spirituality and Teachings of Buddha .

The Buddha said,
"The kind of seed sown
will produce that kind of fruit.
Those who do good will reap good results.
Those who do evil will reap evil results.
If you carefully plant a good seed,
You will joyfully gather good fruit."

Very well said, the above lines were recited by Shakyamuni Buddha, known as The Buddha. These lines definitely awaken the  spirituality in your soul but not for a longer period. So was true with me, I was leading a normal life with my joys and sorrows, going to the temple religiously until one day when one of my friend asked me to accompany her to a Buddha meeting. This is a group of people who just follow and spread Buddha's teachings.

What I knew about Buddha was, he born as a Prince and after getting married, he left his family to find an end to all the worldly sufferings. However, when I attended that meeting , I realized that Buddha was much more than just a wondering monk. It is a complete school of thoughts, which if follow properly, can lead you to a satisfied and spiritual life.

Buddha's teaching
The Calm and Composed Buddha, Basic of Life.

The Buddha's teaching stress on Four Noble Truths of life which are as follows;

Suffering: In this world, there are so many aspects which give us joy and sorrow. If we pay attention, we create more sorrows than the joy. There are four main aspects of suffering as Birth, Sickness , Old age and Death .When we are born we cry, when we are sick we get depressed, when someone we love dies we feel sad. Other than this we don't like to be surrounded with the people we don't like and don't want to let go away the people we like. The buddha doesn't deny that there is no happiness in the life but it doesn't stay for long and same is true with the sorrow.

The cause of the suffering:  According to the Buddha's teaching, when a person becomes greedy and ignorant about other's feelings, the suffering begins. When a person wants to have all the pleasure and doesn't want to leave anything for the others then the problem starts for him as well as for the others. Everyone wants a happy family, good earnings, good food and shelter. So, everyone should enjoy there possessions and cherish the life and let others also feel good. That way everyone will live in happiness.

The end of suffering:  The way out of it is to chop off the wrong doings like greed , luster, ignorance etc. Once you are out of it, you will feel Nirvana.  Buddhists called this state as 'Nirvana" which is everlasting state of great joy and peace with least feeling of sorrow.

The path beyond:  The path beyond is known as  The Noble Eightfold path which is peaceful and joyful.

There are three Universal truth which are also an important part of the Buddha's teaching. These are :

Nothing is lost in the universe:  Nothing gets lost in the universe, it just changes its state but stay there very much. So we should be very careful what we do in the present as it will impact our future. As you sow, so shall you reap.

Everything Changes: Life is like a naughty flowing river changing its course every moment. No two days in our life are same, though they may look alike. So, if today we are happy, the sorrow may be just a corner away or vice-verse.

Law of cause and effect : The law of cause and effect is known as Karma.  Everything good or bad comes to us because we deserve it and we have done a Karma in the past to get it. Many people know this truth but very few of us follow it. No need to have a fear of karma, in fact, just make it your friend. Try not to do any bad Karma intentionally and it will make a peaceful spiritual future for you .

It was an awakening time for me and I have taken the Buddha's teachings seriously . I pledge not to swing too much between joy and sorrow as life is ever-changing. Also, hence forward, I will choose my karma wisely.
